Buffalo Should Terrorize QB-Less Dolphins

September 29th, 2009 Danny Firth No comments

Buffalo has shown some flashes of brilliance this football odds season but finds itself near the bottom of the AFC East after three games. The only team worse in the division is the Miami Dolphins and after this Sunday’s football odds match up the there shouldn’t be much change in the pecking order.

After nearly pulling off an opening day win against the Pats the Bills find themselves 1-2 after a very difficult opening three weeks. After losing to a very good New Orleans team the Buffs will be hungry for a win and Dolphin steaks will be on the pro football odds menu.

New Orleans Next Victim will be The Buffalo Bills

saintsBuffalo is a team on the rise and the NFL football odds show it.  There have been plenty of reasons to be optimistic through the first two weeks of the pro football odds season but the Saints coming to play at Ralph Wilson Stadium is not one of them.  The Saints have been putting up video game stats this football odds season and will likely continue their run against a solid Buffs squad.

When the Saints come marching in to Buffalo they’ll be riding not only a two-game winning streak but a wicked scoring streak as well.  New Orleans became the only team to open a season scoring at least 45-points in two straight games and will be looking to make it three. Read more…

Packers Look for Redemption in St. Louis

PackersIt’s hard to say if the Rams are the worst team in football odds and the NFL, but the fact that they’re certainly among the front-runners for this dubious honor seems acute commentary on the state of this team. There are very few positive things to say about this team’s football odds and after the Green Bay Packers come to town on Sunday this team will all but certainly be 0-3.

Steven Jackson is about the only talent this team has and without any blocking up front or a passing game to set up the run, he has still put up impressive numbers but to no avail. Mark Bulger is a shadow of his former self and has no one to throw to. This is the worst offense in the NFL and has managed just seven points in eight quarters of football odd action Read more…

Pats vs. Jets: Second Best Game of the Week

September 18th, 2009 Danny Firth No comments

jetsThe pro football odds favor the Pats on the road (+5 ½) in this key AFC East showdown.  That seems to be a bit soft considering that the Pats barely escaped a loss at home to the mediocre Bills in week one of the NFL pro football odds.  New York is not a nice for visitors to play and with Ryan’s clever blitzes coming at Brady all day this football odds game will severely tax the Pats. Look for the Jets to at least cover the spread.

If Rex Ryan is cold calling ticket holders than you know this is a big game.  Any time the Pats come to New York (even without the Mangini element) it’s a big game and the week two matchup between these AFC East rivals should be a good one. Read more…

$10,000 fine to Favre

September 9th, 2009 Danny Firth No comments

Brett FavrePro football odds fans around the US, watched on national television how Brett Favre performed a very dangerous and illegal block against the Houston Texans player Eugene Wilson, during the week 3 of the preseason.  Because of this fault, the NFL punished Favre with a $10,000 fine.

Favre didn’t play in the final exhibition game against the Dallas Cowboys last Friday, and he was playing his second game since he signed with the Vikings on August, 18th. Read more…
