Bills vs. Chiefs in the un-popular game of the week
There aren’t a lot of people that will go out of their way to see or bet on this pro football odds match up but it just might be the most interesting game of the week. Both teams are mired in mediocrity and this game, believe it or not, is deadlocked in the pro football odds. The 3-9 Chiefs host the 4-8 Bills in what should be a very close game.
KC obviously has the home field advantage which is huge, especially in the frigid month of December, but the Bills has the despicable distinction of playing in one of the few places on the continent that are colder than KC in winter.
Both teams are coming off deflating NFL betting losses so neither has much of an advantage in the momentum department of the football odds. Both teams have lackluster offenses that are severely limited in their execution. Neither team can run the ball with much effect and the passing games, for different reasons, are both ineffective.
The Chiefs have a decent QB and no receivers and the Bills have a wealth of receivers but very poor QB. If you combined the two offenses you might be able to create one above average unit in the NFL football odds competition but that ain’t happening anytime soon.
As you might have guessed, neither team is much to talk about on defense either but Buffalo has the distinct advantage here. KC ranks third worst in NFL betting odds, giving up 27.1 ppg while Buffalo gives up a much more respectable 21.8 ppg. With all other things being equal, Buffalo should win this one on its defense merit.
