NFC East Leads the League in Wins
The NFC East has been one of the most imposing divisions in pro football odds for several years and every year it seems to produce a multiple Super Bowl contenders. This season is no different and through three weeks of football odds action it’s got three teams that could be playing February and leads the league in collective wins.
Along with the NFC North, another strong division, it’s tied for the lead with eight pro football odds victories, with three of its teams boasting of winning records (Cowboys, Giants, Eagles) and the other (Redskins), just one game below .500.
The Giants are 3-0 thus far and look to be one of the top three teams in the NFL football odds. To date New York has been the most complete team three weeks of action. The Eagles, once they get their QB situation sorted out are also right near the top in terms of NFL talent and have post season hopes.
The Cowboys also have the talent to go into the post season and very well could, but must cut down on mistakes and be more consistent. The Skins are the weak link in this division but the team hasn’t been healthy and it’s still too early to shut the book on this club. Jason Campbell is improving every game and if some of the team’s key players get healthy (Albert Haynesworth, Clinton Portis) this could be a contender.
The bottom line is the NFC East is still a very dominant league and should at least two, maybe three teams in the playoffs.
