Packers Looking For Cincy Beat Down

Packers playerFewer teams in the AFC were hyped up more than the Cincinnati Bengals during the football odds offseason. And fewer teams failed to live up to said hype more spectacularly than the Bengals. The supposedly transformed scored one measly TD and lost the home opener to a Broncos team that most top ten college teams should beat in football odds.

The road doesn’t get any easier this week in the pro football odds as they travel to a very inhospitable Lambeau Field to take on the Packers. The Packers have a chance to be one of the best in the NFC this year and the results won’t be much different in week two for Cincy than they were in week one.

The jury is still out on the rebuilt Carson Palmer. Pre-knee injury he was one of the best in pro football odds. Now he is an enigma. Losing his best receiver in the off-season hasn’t helped his cause either. And the fact that Cedric Benson seems to be the team’s most potent weapon seems to say quite a lot about the sad state of affairs for the Bengals.

Green Bay has a chance to one of the top teams in the NFC this year with a more comfortable Aaron Rogers at the helm and the new look 3-4 defense that is scourge of offensive coordinators. The Pack is clearly the better dog in this fight.

But strange things can happen in the NFL football odds. As bad as Cincy is, they’ve got too much talent on offense to only score one TD a game. Look for the Pack to win but the Bengals keep it close and cover the spread.
