Tampa Bay in Atlanta
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have already done something this football odds season that many people thought impossible just a few weeks ago: win a game. Unfortunately for Tampa fans the team will not add to this win total this week in Atlanta when a hungry and star-studded Falcons squad should take them the woodshed.
The Falcons at 5-5 have been one of the biggest disappointments of the football odds action this season. Granted this team has had some very tough games on the schedule so far like the Saints, Pats and Cowboys on the road. And it doesn’t get much easier down the stretch with Philly and New Orleans in the next two weeks in the pro football odds.
But this week’s battle with Tampa should be a welcome respite and a rare chance on their schedule to really paste an opponent.
Matt Ryan has suffered a bit of a slump this season and defensives have been able to force him into mistakes. But the Bucs have so little talent on either side of the ball that Ryan should have one of his best games.
Star RB Michael Turner is doubtful which gives the Bucs a glimmer of hope in these NFL football odds. Josh Freeman has shown some guts and the rookie QB just might be able to make in the league.
All things considered the Falcons should win this one at home without breaking too much of a sweat. Even without Turner this should be a fine opportunity for Ryan to break out of his funk and finally put up some good numbers.
